Developed by Movement Assessment Technologies, it is designed for clinicians, coaches, and rehabilitation and performance professionals who want objective bilateral strength assessment with a quick and consistent setup.
Key Features:
Four integrated load cells for stable, repeatable and reliable force capture.
Compact, easy-to-anchor design for quick setup.
Can be used on its own for on-device peak force testing, or paired with the Measurz app for deeper analysis and tracking.
BLE 5.3 connectivity to the Measurz app.
500Hz sampling rate for fast, high-quality data capture.
150kg (330lbs) capacity per side.
Rechargeable 1200mA lithium battery with USB-C charging.
Compatible with Measurz on iOS, iPadOS, macOS (M1+) and most Android devices.
Applications:
Bilateral strength testing.
Hip and shoulder strength assessment.
Baseline strength testing and progress tracking.
Return-to-performance and return-to-sport assessment.
Identifying side-to-side imbalances.
Sports performance and research settings.
Introduction:
The Anker is designed to make anchored strength testing quick and simple while improving consistency across sessions. It can be used without a smart device if preferred, with on-device peak force display in kg or lb, or paired with the Measurz app to access additional live metrics and tracking over time.
When paired with Measurz, the Anker supports four key testing modes:
Max Mode – peak and average force measurements over repetitions.
RFD Mode – rate of force development and time to peak.
Static Endurance Mode – endurance force over a set time period.
Dynamic Endurance Mode – endurance force over a set number of repetitions.
Anker Button Functions
KG:
Long Push (hold for 3 seconds): Switch testing modes.
HOLD mode = holds force on screen | LIVE = live mode (use with Measurz app)
Short Push: Change units from kg to lbs.
Please ensure you have the same unit displayed as set in Measurz.
On/Off:
Re-zero for data accuracy.
Right Button:
Long Push (hold for 3 seconds): Switch load cells in use
IN mode = inside load cells only | OUT = outside load cells only | AUTO = all load cells active
Short Push: Tare or Zero the Anker.
2. Product Safety Recommendations
For safe and effective use of the Anker, follow these guidelines:
Ensure secure anchoring: Always make sure the Anker is properly secured before testing to avoid movement during assessment.
Check setup before each test: Confirm the device is positioned correctly and the setup is stable before force is applied.
Use in a stable testing position: Ensure the user is standing, seated or positioned securely to prevent compensation or loss of balance.
Avoid excessive force: Do not exceed the device’s maximum force capacity of 150kg (330lbs) per side.
Monitor user fatigue: Allow adequate rest between tests to ensure reliable and repeatable results.
Inspect before use: Check the device for visible wear, looseness, damage or charging-port issues before testing.
Keep dry and clean: Store the Anker in a clean, dry environment and avoid unnecessary exposure to moisture.
Do not drop the device: Impacts may affect measurement accuracy or damage internal components.
Use appropriate supervision: Ensure proper instruction when the device is being used by someone unfamiliar with strength testing.
Avoid extreme temperatures: Store and charge the device in a temperature-controlled environment where possible. These safety recommendations are adapted in the same style as your existing manuals, while aligned to the Anker’s published specs and use case.
Electrical Safety and Charging Guidelines
Use a 5V USB-C charger/cable as specified.
Charge in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Keep the charging port away from water and moisture.
Inspect the cable before charging.
Avoid charging in very hot or very cold environments.
Disconnect after charging if storing the device for extended periods. The public Anker page specifies USB-C 5V charging and a 1200mA lithium battery.
Load Capacity
The Anker is rated to 150kg.
Prior to use it is recommended to check it thoroughly for any signs of damage.
3. Product Materials
The Anker is designed using high-quality materials to ensure longevity and performance consistency.
